Scanning Services High-Res 35mm Negative or Slide Scanning
We offer two types of 35mm negative and slide scans, depending on your needs.Our high resolution scan is satisfactory for making prints up to 16”x20”inches.They can be saved as JPEG or TIFF files, whichever you prefer. Service includes saving to an Archival Gold CD or DVD.
If you have large quantities of negatives and just want to scan the entire batch, we offer an economy service. This service is available on complete strips or uncut rolls of 35mm negatives, either color or black and white. The JPEG file produced is approximately 18Mb in size. Minimum $10 charge. In strips of 3 frames or more $0.50 per frame Uncut 35mm roll $6.99 per roll
Medium Format roll-film scans are priced as Standard print scans. See below
Negatives from 4"x5" to 5"x7" are individually done at a standard size of 25Mb at $4.00 per scan. Scans requested at larger than 25Mb will be done as high-resolution custom scans (see below).
Standard Scans from Prints (up to 8”x10”)
We offer two types of print scans, depending on your needs.Our standard scan is capable of making prints up to 16x20 inches, while our economy batch scan is great for viewing on a computer, creating a backup archive of your images and making prints up to 5x7.Standard print scans can be saved as JPEG or TIFF files, whichever you prefer, while the batch scans are available as JPEG only.
Service includes saving to an Archival Gold CD or DVD. Other options are available at additional cost.
Custom High-Resolution Scans, from Film or Prints (up to 8”x10”)
If you have the need for a higher resolution scan, for exhibit quality fine art printing as an example, we do offer custom scanning to your specifications.Price is based on file size, regardless of quantity.

Economy High Volume Batch Scanning Options
We also offer an economy package, especially designed to help you preserve all those old prints lying in closets.As we all learned from Hurricane Katrina, later can come sooner than we realize! Prints small than 5x7 will be scanned at 600dpi. at print size resolution, 5x7 and larger will be scanned at 300dpi. Scanning in sequence available at an additional charge. For prints smaller than 2"x3", mounted prints (Polaroid, CDV,etc,) irregularly shaped or fragile prints, please refer to standard print scanning prices.
