Here are some items that, although not required, you may find especially helpful during your photography class.
Film Leader Retriever
This item will pay for itself the very first time you use it! It allows you to retreive the film leader tab from inside the cassette if you accidently rewind a new roll. Especially helpful if you are on your last roll of film in the middle of an assignment. Every photographer should carry one in his camera bag at all times.
Projection Print Scale
Gives perfect exposures every time. Saves money on paper. Easy to use. 4" x 5". Eight pie wedges of calibrated, graduated density show the number of seconds after one test exposure. This is the same as making a test strip, but much easier.
